Convenient for employees, good for Ravensburg
As one of the largest employers in Upper Swabia, we are growing steadily, as are the demands on our infrastructure. By building a new parking garage on Eywiesenstraße, we have created a sustainable, long-term solution for the Schützenstraße site. The 1,300 additional parking spaces will ease the burden on both our employees and the city’s northern district. Construction ran so smoothly that we were able to open the parking garage earlier than anticipated.
Sustainable mobility, today and in the future
Sustainability plays a central role in our mobility strategy. We developed our holistic mobility approach by relying on multiple pillars. While we encourage the use of bicycles and public transportation, we also recognize that reliable connections are not always available, particularly during off-peak hours. Our new parking garage combines functionality with sustainability. It features a green façade and a 2,600-square-meter photovoltaic system.
State-of-the-art technology with a parking guidance system & license plate recognition
An intelligent parking guidance system displays the current occupancy and directs drivers to available parking spaces. Thanks to an automatic license-plate recognition system, employee vehicles can enter and exit without a ticket.
One of Upper Swabia’s largest parking garages is a step forward in creating more efficient infrastructure. Developed in close, constructive partnership with the City of Ravensburg, the garage will add much-needed capacity to the northern district, particularly on weekends and during major events, beginning in July.
