Hi Lars! Please tell us about yourself and about what you do at Vetter.
I’m 16 years old and am training to be an IT specialist focusing on system integration.
Why did you choose this apprenticeship?
I took an online test to find out which educational path I should pursue. I discovered the IT profession specialist and applied to Vetter.
How was the welcome event?
It was cool! We got to know each other and did various team-building exercises. We got a good introduction to company fundamentals, had the chance to get to know other trainees – and the training manager too of course – before splitting up into different areas.
How did the onboarding process go?
At Vetter, being an apprentice means that you get right to it. I was promptly given tasks and was responsible for completing them myself. It was a realistic introduction to the challenges of our profession.
What was the highlight of your first 100 days?
It’s less about having one highlight and more about the whole package being perfect for me – every day anew.
What’s next for you?
I will get to know the different IT departments and I'm really looking forward to it.
