A token of appreciation and gratitude
The Business Medal of the State of Baden-Württemberg is awarded to entrepreneurial achievements and unique contributions, and we are proud that Udo J. Vetter was honored with this award on November 12. Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economic Affairs, Labor, and Tourism, presented the medal at the New Palace in Stuttgart.
"Moving forward, we need to focus even more on what you represent: innovation, quality, precision, novel approaches, and fresh perspectives," stated Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, the Minister of Economic Affairs, Labor, and Tourism for the State of Baden-Württemberg, as she honors twelve distinguished individuals. “Like generations of Baden-Württembergers before us, we must strive to be just a bit faster and better than the others. It is crucial that we unleash our economic potential once more. It is important to support high performers like you and give companies the freedom they need to invest in this country again and drive innovation forward.”
Since 1987, the Economic Medal has been awarded as a special distinction to individuals and companies who have made outstanding contributions to Baden-Württemberg as a place of business. Active engagement with the local community—particularly in cultural, educational, and environmental initiatives, is a key factor. As Udo J. Vetter noted in his acceptance speech, the award symbolizes the company's great successes: "Above all, this Business Medal acknowledges the exceptional accomplishments of all Vetter employees and the long-standing, cooperation with our partners. I am especially grateful to all of you!”
