We are a family-owned business based in the Lake Constance region of Germany that has been committed to quality, responsibility, and to improving the quality of life for patients around the world for 75 years.

What began as a pharmacy in Ravensburg in 1950 is now a global pharmaceutical service provider for injectable medications. "We can be proud of where we are today. This is the result of more than seven decades of courage, clear goals, teamwork, and passion for the well-being of patients around the globe," says Senator h.c. Udo J. Vetter, Chairman of the Advisory Board and member of the owning family.

Growth in revenue and employees

Our well-filled order books reflect exceptionally strong numbers. With sales of €1,114 million in 2024, we exceeded the previous year’s sales by eleven percent and increased the number of employees to more than 7,000 worldwide. This is a testament to the continuation of our sustainable growth path. Even in challenging times, we remain a reliable employer and partner for pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide.

Extensive site expansions

We are currently expanding our sites in Ravensburg, Langenargen, as well as in Austria and the United States. New buildings and a parking garage, which will also benefit the public, are being constructed in Ravensburg. We are extending the production facility in Langenargen. Additional office spaces and a technical workshop are being created in Rankweil, Austria. In Chicago, we have begun expanding our development site. We are also working on the preliminary plans for a production facility in Saarland, Germany.

Reliability and development

Our family-owned company has always been a reliable place to work. The pay raise in 2025 will result in at least a 2.5 percent increase in salary. Starting next year, there will also be an annual company bonus. We are advancing key aspects of the workplace – with a new compensation system and the "Attractive Shift Systems" project.

Claudia Schmidt, Chairwoman of the Works Council, is very pleased with the change process: "The new compensation system provides more financial predictability, transparency, and recognition of individual performance. We have succeeded in providing positive and motivational support for employees." Our shift systems are evolving to provide less stress, better work-life balance and, in some cases, more flexible work schedules.

Outstanding employer

With modern working conditions, fair compensation, and meaningful work, we continue to be a stable and forward-thinking employer, providing growth opportunities and long-term career prospects. This is also reflected in our performance in the "Leading Employer Award 2025". For the third time, we are among the top 1 percent of all employers in Germany and among the top 20 in the "Germany's Best Employers" ranking in the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Technology category.
