The focus of this year's contest was on finding solutions that make it easier for patients to take their tablets while also helping to reduce plastic waste. The prototype they designed was able to produce tablets in different colors to indicate different dosing times. A small, separate press was required for each tablet color to prevent contamination during production.
The vfa make it! award, hosted by the German Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies, is a nationwide competition open to apprentices in technical and scientific fields at all pharmaceutical companies. The goal is for participants to independently solve a real-world, practical challenge, from developing the initial concept, to technical execution, to the final presentation before a panel of experts.
Our team of apprentices impressed the jury with their practicality, technical precision, innovative strength, and a structured, team-oriented approach to work. This victory not only underscores the trainees' achievements but also reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, forward-looking training.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations on their outstanding success.
