Vetter comes to Saarland and creates long-term prospects
Construction on our new site in Saarlouis has begun. In mid-2026, we will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for a new pharmaceutical production building, which will mark the first milestone of our long-term expansion. Our goal is to start manufacturing essential medications in Saarlouis by 2031. Initially, we will hire circa 400 employees from various professional groups, including career changers, specialists, and managers. Over the course of several years, up to 2,000 jobs will be created in further expansion phases. Our objective is to strengthen the location for the long term and establish ourselves as an attractive employer in the region.
