Thriving together

In September of this year, 57 aspiring professionals—49 apprentices and eight dual students—began their studies and apprenticeships at Vetter, entering a new chapter in their lives. To help our new hires get off to a strong start, we designed a comprehensive onboarding program that provides orientation, strengthens team spirit, and fosters a love of learning.
The second part of the Trainee Welcome Days took place from September 15 to 17 at the Humboldt Institute in Bad Schussenried and formed a core part of the program. During the three-day event, participants showcased their skills in a large team challenge consisting of seven games focused on communication, team building, and Vetter-specific knowledge. The program was further enriched by engaging learning opportunities from Product Marketing, Corporate Compliance, IT Security, Corporate Health Management, and Training.
Participants received professional training and had the chance to bond as a team, network, and get to know each other. One of the many strengths of the Welcome Days is the vibrant mix of participants representing a wide variety of apprenticeships and dual study programs. This diversity promotes open communication across departments and strengthens team spirit at Vetter.
Welcome Days are essential to the onboarding process. Additional program elements, such as site tours, health services, and access to the Vetter Learning digital learning platform, help our new colleagues as they commence their training and studies.
After around a month of intensive preparation, our junior staff is now ready to go, armed with a wealth of expertise, new contacts, and high motivation. We wish them every success! We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our colleagues who helped design and prepare for this launch.
