Inspiring tomorrow's talent today: Girls' Day 2025

Girls' Day bei Vetter in der Automatisierungstechnik: Gruppenbild der Teilnehmenden

Our automation technology is an exciting field with promising prospects. The young participants in the 2025 Girls’ Day got to experience this firsthand.

Girls' Day at Vetter: The fascination of automation

Every year, Girls' Day introduces girls and young women to careers in technology and science. We are pleased to be part of this initiative. After all, one of our most important tasks is to attract today's top talent to tomorrow's technology and to inspire them to join Vetter.

During Girls’ Day on April 3, nine schoolgirls delved into the world of automation technology, exploring the day-to-day of an electronics technician in an innovative, high-tech work environment. This is particularly relevant as automation plays an increasingly vital role in the pharmaceutical industry – especially at Vetter. Being a regular recipient of the Robotics Applications of the Year (RAYA) Award illustrates how far we have come in this field.

After touring our technical training center, the participants were captivated by the marvels of a compact plant full of automation technology. And because Girls' Day is all about experiencing and trying things out, after a practical introduction, the young explorers were able to put their skills to the test by programming a robot.

As always, our apprentices were on hand to answer any questions the students might have about Vetter and our apprenticeship program. For these young talents, Girls' Day 2025 was a day full of fascinating insights and perspectives.
