Vetter expert has been elected as member of the ISPE Board of Directors

The ISPE recently announced the results of its 2016-17 International Board of Directors election, revealing a slate of strategic leaders who represent a variety of pharmaceutical industry sectors. Jörg Zimmermann, Vice President of Vetter Development Services has been elected as one of the new directors.

The ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering) is the world's largest not-for-profit association serving its members by leading scientific, technical and regulatory advancement throughout the entire pharmaceutical lifecycle. The organization is committed to the advancement of the educational and technical efficiency of its members through forums for the exchange of ideas and practical experience. All scientific and technical areas of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry are represented among its membership and include engineers, microbiologists, chemists, QA/QC, production, process development, pharmacists, regulatory and training personnel, academia, suppliers, and other professionals. The ISPE is led by a 15-member International Board of Directors responsible for the governance and strategic direction of the Society. Jörg Zimmerman is among the recently elected new board members and will assume his position at the 2016 ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo, 18 – 21 September in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
