Pharmaceutical Technologist

Requirements:

• A good secondary school degree or High School Diploma

Duration of training:

• 3 years
  
  A reduction of the qualification period with High School Diploma is possible.

Contents of training
(main focus):

• 1st year of training:
  - Structure and organization of the company
  - Job safety and hygiene
  - Handling of substance (blending,
    separation, purification)
  - Measuring of physical parameters and 
    determination of substance constants
  - Aspects of environmental protection
• 2nd year of training:
  - Manufacturing of drugs
  - Processing of materials and establishing of hose and pipe connections
  - Use of microbiological work techniques
  - Documentation of work sequences and results
• Intermediate examination
• 3rd / 4th year of training:
  - Packaging, storing and scheduling
  - Quality Control and Assurance
  - Obtaining and registration of measurement data
  - Control of manufacturing processes

• Compounding of drug solutions
