Electronic Technician for Automation Technology

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or a good secondary school leading to intermediate qualification 
• 1 year vocational school for electrical engineering is required

Duration of training:

• 2 1/2 years

Contents of training (main focus):

• 1. Shared Training Contents (for all electronics jobs):
      - Occupational training, labor and tariff law
      - Structure and organization of the training company
      - Safety and health protection at work
      - Environmental protection
      - Company and technical communication
      - Planning and organization of work, evaluation of work results
      - Assembly and connection of electrical equipment
      - Measurement and analysis of electrical functions and
        systems                 
      - Assessment of the safety of electrical equipment
      - Installation and configuration of IT systems 
      - Consultation and support of customers, performance of
         services                                                                                 
• 2. Job-specific Training Contents:
      - Technical order analysis, solution development
      - Set-up and installation of automation technology
      - Program configuration for automation systems
      - Testing and qualification of automation systems
      - Maintenance and optimization of automation systems
      - Business processes and quality management on the job

• 2 / year

Work area after the training:

 Electrical services with the following tasks:

• Set-up, reconnection, monitoring and maintenance of automated equipment for the production and quality assurance of products
• Troubleshooting, error correction
