Forum to Address Manufacturing of Biosimilars and the Affordable Care Act

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will ensure that all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care and will create a transformation within the health care system necessary to contain costs. A forum entitled “Catalyzing Collaborations between Industry & Academia in the Life Science” will address issues including manufacturing and quality of biosimilars. The forum, on September 28, 2012 from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm CST in Lake Forest, will feature amongst others a panel discussion on manufacturing and quality issues. Friedrich Harder, Product Manager for Vetter Development Services in Forest City will participate in the panel which begins at 11:15 am.
