Faced with an ever more complex and highly regulated health care system, how will the manufacturing industry respond?

Dr. Hermann Piana, Key Account Manager at Vetter, will offer his thoughts at the “CPHI/ICSE” in Madrid, Spain.

The conference will take place on 9-11 October 2012, at the Feria de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, Dr. Piana's presention will focus on the challenges the manufacturing industry faces in designing and developing production systems able to meet high volume capacity needs coupled with the flexibility of rapid change of complex process implementation for biologic based antigens. A case study will help to illustrate how a closed RABS system, designed from the ground up, helps meet the needs of high-volume, novel complex compound manufactures.

Mr. Piana’s presentation is entitled, “How the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry respond to the future public health needs - a case study in novel high volume RABS based PFS vaccine manufacture.” will be given Tuesday, October 9 at 2-2.25 pm and again on Wednesday, October at 3-3.25 pm in the Speakers Corner.
