Emerging Markets for Injectable Products Highlight Discussions at the 2012 Universe of Pre-filled Syringe and Injection Devices Conference


Injectable products are considered by many to be the most technically challenging and expensive drugs to develop. Getting it right the first time is critical to a company’s success. With the emergence of new markets for combination products and pre-filled syringes manufacturers are faced with significant opportunities. But stringent regulatory oversight by the FDA and EU, compounded by the need to “get it right” the first time, make their manufacturing and success ever more difficult to achieve.
